GoToSea / 下海

《下海》是一部以九十年代的中国为背景的复古像素风格叙事游戏。故事架空于中国北方某工业城镇，讲述了年轻人小康在澡堂打工的旅程。公共澡堂是当地居民最常聚集的的休闲场所，也是信息交流的场域。 小吴跟澡堂里形形色色的人物发生着短暂而耐以寻味的交流和碰撞，并在其中不断被潜移默化的影响。

《下海》尝试捕捉时代的私密故事，创造一个受中国现代化启发的，似曾相识又奇幻的昨日世界，并通过游戏的方式供玩家探索。

“Go To Sea” is a retro pixel narrative game set in China in the 1990s. Inspired by China's swift shift toward privatization. This historical era provides the backdrop for the game's story, which centers on Xiao Kang, a young man residing in a northern Chinese industrial town, working in a neighborhood bathhouse. The public bathhouse is frequented by local residents. It is also a place for exchanging anecdotes and information. Throughout his time there, Xiao Wu had brief but thought-provoking exchanges with all kinds of visitors, who reshaped his thoughts over time.

The game aims to capture an intimate account of Chinese people who lived through that period. Through interactive gameplay, Go To Sea offers players a relatable yet intriguing experience inspired by the force of modernization in China.
